TRAVELING FROM SEATTLE
Alaska Airlines is the only airlines which flies direct to and from Cancun, and they only have one flight per day. Other airlineswill layover, usually in Colorado or Texas, extending the trip to 8 hours or longer. (Good deal: On 10/18, Frontier Airlines had a $470 ticket from 4/12 - 4/20, a 7 hour departure flight and 10 hour return). As of September, Alaska's roundtrip tickets for weekend travel cost around $600. Travel on weekdays cost around $420.
